With love from Tangier! In our last video we have showed you how we make our bespoke terrazzo and cement tiles. Today we wanted to show you how we manufacture our #zellige tiles.

Zellige is a handcrafted clay tile that originates from Morocco. First it is moulded and dried in the sun. Then its hand cut into its final shape and fired twice. The first firing results in an unglazed tile biscuit, which we call Bejmat. The second firing is for the colourful glazing. Do you now how many different colours we have? More than 80... head over to our mosaicfactory.com and have a look!

Featured #mosaicfactoryzellige is colour 1081 in shape "10x10" and "brick".
